Barsaat (1949) is a Bollywood Romantic Movie released on April 21, 1949. The movie was Produced and Directed by the first Indian Showman Raj Kapoor. The movie was written by Ramanand Sagar who later brought the epic TV Serial Ramayana.

Movie Plot: Pran (Raj Kapoor) and Gopal (Prem Nath) visits in the Valley of Kashmere on a holiday. Pran falls for Reshma (Nargis) and Gopal, a womanizer villain, plays with Neela (Nimmi) who truly loves him. Gopal made falls promises to Neela to return after rainy season. On the other hand love of Pran and Reshma faces many obstacles in the way of their true love.
