Chhorii is an upcoming Bollywood Horror Film released on 26 November 2022 on the OTT platgrom Disney+Hotstar. Vishai Furia has directed the film whereas Bhushan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Jack Davis have produced the film.
Chhorii is a remake of a Marathi Film Lapachhapi (2017) also directed by Vishai Furia. Lapachhapi is considered one of the best Marthi Horror Films.
Chhorii stars Nushrat Bharucha in the lead role alongside Mita Vashisht, Rajesh Jais and Saurabh Goyal. The principal photography for the film began on 25 November 2020 in Madhya Pradesh.
A young couple, forced out of their city home, seeks shelter in a house inside a sugarcane field. However, they don't know that the house is actually Haunted. The young woman (Nushrratt Bharuccha) is 8 month pregnant and the spirit inside the house wants to kill even the unborn baby. She must save her unborn baby.
