Good Boy, Bad Boy is an Indian Hindi-language (Bollywood) Comedy-Drama film released on May 11, 2007.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a UA rating to the Hindi-language film Good Boy Bad Boy, vide certificate No. CIL/1/42/207-MUM dated April 30, 2007. The runtime of the film is 110 Minutes.

Movie Plot

Rajveer Malhotra alias Raju Malhotra or R. Malhotra (Emraan Hashmi) is a brat student. He lives with his father (Anand Desai), mother (Prabtibha Sinha), and younger sister. 

Raju has no interest in studies and often tries to divert students from the study. However, he is good at dancing and games.

On the other hand, Rajan Malhotra alias R. Malhotra (Tusshar Kapoor) is a brilliant student and wants to be an IAS Officer. On the contrary, his father (Rakesh Bedi) wants him to join their family business.

Both Raju Malhotra and Rajan Malhotra study in the same college. Raju likes Rashmi (Isha Sharvani), who dislikes Raju and has no interest in him. On the other hand,  Dinky Kapoor (Tanushree Dutta), who has no interest in studies, likes Rajan Malhotra (Tusshar Kapoor).

A twist in the story

There are many supports for Raju Malhotra (Emraan Hashmi), and they have no interest in studies. Moreover, they distract those whose sole purpose is studying in the college.

To transform these students, the college Principal, Mr. Awasthi (Paresh Rawal), divides classes into three sections - A, B, and C. A-Section is for meritious students, B-Section is for average students, and C-Section is for those who perform poorly in examinations.

Since Raju Malhotra and Rajan Malhotra share the same initials, R. Malhotra, their Identity Cards get swapped. Consequently, Raju Malhotra (Emraan Hashmi) gets entry into the A-Section, whereas the brilliant Rajan Malhotra sits in the C-Section.

Raju compels Rajan not to disclose the secret to anyone. However, they become good friends and start helping each other.

In the meantime, love blossoms, and Rashmi also falls for Raju, assuming he is a brilliant student. Similarly, Rajan makes a pair with Dinky. However, no one knows that Rashmi is the daughter of the college principal, Mr. Awasthi (Paresh Rawal).

True identities reveal

Soon, Mr. Awasthi (Paresh Rawal) learns about the affair of his daughter and brat, Raju. He also discovers the true identities of Raju and Rajan and discloses them to Rashmi. Upon knowing the truth, Rashmi breaks up with Raju.

Mr. Awasthi does not stop here. He sends the name of Rajan (Tusshar Kapoor) for the dance competition and Raju Malhotra (Emraan Hashmi) for the quiz competition.

Rajan does not know the ABC of dancing, and Raju has never taken his studies seriously. What will they do now? If Raju loses the quiz competition, he will never get back his love. Will they accept the challenge or surrender?
