Madam Chief Minister is a Bollywood Political Drama released theatrically on 22 Jan January 2021. The film is written and directed by Subhas Kapoor who earlier directed Jolly LLB franchise.
Richa Chadha, Manav Kaul, Saurabh Shukla and Akshay Oberoi have played the pivotal roles in the film. TSeries has produced the film.
The film is story of Tara (Richa Chadha) who belongs to a minority group that is considered a lower caste in the society. To fulfill her big dream and political career she takes help of influential political leader Master Ji (Sourbab Shukla).
Tara helps public and tries to uplift minority groups and people and soon become powerful and loved by people. However, some anti social elements are not happy with her success just because of her caste and her being a woman.
The rest of the story depicts a picture of Indian politics and reflects hurdles for a minority group woman to become a politician. Nevertheless, Tara becomes the Prime Minister and sees some real faces she never expected.
