Kailash Sharma (Shashi Kapoor) was sentenced to death for molesting a girl and killing a man. Even his appeal was rejected to Supreme Court. His wife Seema (Vidya Sinha) relocates to Mumbai as Kailashed forced her to do so. After she got married to Ratan (Sanjeev Kumar) and happily living until Kailash, who was finally got life imprisonment, returned Mumbai after 14 years and found Seema remarried and happy. He decided not to interfere in her life. But Semma saw him and started meeting him secretly. Now their life is going to change drastically perpetually.
