The Broken News is Hindi -language ( Drama ) web series released directly on the OTT platform ZEE5 on 10 June 2022.
The Broken News depicts the story of two rival News Channels. Both channels have opposite principles of journalism that leading to an intense rivalry.
Amina Qureshi (Sonali Bendre) is the channel head of Aaj Ki Awaaz Bharti and Dipankar Sanyal (Jaideep Ahlawat) is the Channel Head of Josh 24/7 news.
Amina Qureshi believes in showing the reality to the public based on the facts, whereas Dipankar Sanyal wants to tell a story irrespective of the facts of the case.
Radha Bhargava (Shriya Pilgaonkar) works in Aaj Ki Awaaz Bharti and follows the principles of Amina Qureshi.
Dipankar Sanyal wants Radha to work for him. When Radha refuses, he declares her a traitor.
On the other hand, Amina Qureshi wants the truth about Dipankar to come out to the public.
