Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai - Hindi Film 2020

Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai (2020) is a Drama Bollywood Movie initially released on 05 June 2020. Anurag Kashayap directed the movie in addition to co-produce the movie along with Netflix and Good Bad Films (debut film). Nihit Bhave wrote the Screenplay of Choked (2020)

Saiyami Kher played the lead role in the movie. Roshan Mathew, Amruta Subhash and Rajshri Deshpande played supporting pivotal roles in the film.  Tushar Dalvi, Upendra Limaye, Uday Nene and Milind Pathak also featured in the movie.

Chehre (2020) Movie Plot

Choked is a story of Sarita (Saiyami Kher) and Sushant (Roshan Mathew), a middle class married couple live in Mumbai.  Sarita works in a Bank as a Teller and Sushant does not have a regular job. He somehow manages to earn with some small schemes along with his neighbors. 

Sarita and Sushant belong to a musical background but they had to leave singing when Sarita got choked after witnesses a large number of audiences. Her choking problem persists. 

Sarita and Sushant have all the problems common middle class couples face in Mumbai. Sarita has to work late in office and this affects her marital life too. The couple starts indulging and regular fights. 

In the meantime, an unidentified person, lives in the same building with Sarita, brings a bag full of cash and stuffs the same in the bathroom drain. This act resulted choking of water sewage pipe. Sarita often hears strange noise in her kitchen pipe. 

One night Sarita hears the strange noise in her kitchen. She finds that drinking water is not coming up from kitchen pipe. She tries to open and clean the dirty pipe and found the bag full of cash containing notes of Rs. 500. 

Sarita takes out some notes, verify the same in the Bank, and finds them real. Now she gets a simple way to get easy cash. She uses the same to pay back the debts taken by her husband. She also brings new household things. Now she starts living happily with her husband without having day-to-day quarrel. 

Sushant observes Sarita and ask about source of money. However, Sarita somehow manages to convince that the money is from her mother’s deposit and she continuous to take out the easy money. 

When everything seems good Sarita’s dreams get shattered as Indian Government bans currency notes of Rs. 500. This abruptly stops easy cash for Sarita and she finds herself back to the same position. Moreover, her work in the Bank increased drastically due to demonetization. 

After a few days, Sarita surprised to see that the hidden money changes into notes of new denominations i.e. of Rs. 2000. She again started getting easy money in the shape of Rs. 2000 notes. 

Yet, this is not the end of story. Lots of ups and down are coming in the way of Sarita. These incidents includes Bank Robbery in which all her cash also goes away; Police investigation about Black Money and eventually approach of police in her building also.
