Plot Summary of Hindi Film Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan (2023)

Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan is an Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film released in cinemas on November 17, 2023 (Diwali 2023).

Khichdi began as a stage play and is the sole Indian TV show to have transitioned into a movie and a web series. Khichdi eventually becomes an adventure-comedy sequel.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a U rating to the Hindi-language film Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan, vide certificate No. DIL/1/113/2023-MUM dated November 14, 2023. The runtime of the film is 121 Minutes and 23 Seconds.

Movie Plot

Parekh family, including Hansa (Supriya Pathak), Jayshree (Vandana Pathak), Praful (Rajeev Mehta), Babuji (Anang Desai) and Himanshu (J.D. Majethia),  discovers that the King of Paanthukistan looks exactly like Praful.

The family learns that the king of Paanthukistan, a fictional country, has imprisoned an Indian scientist (Paresh Ganatra). The family also discovers that the king of Paanthukistan (Rajeev Mehta in a double role) looks like Praful.

The crazy Parekh family plans to take advantage of the resemblance of the king of Paanthukistan with Praful and embarks on a journey to rescue the Indian scientist.

After reaching Paanthukistan, Praful impersonates the king because of the similarity of the look. Will the family trace the scientist and rescue him? The film Khichdi 2 narrates the rest of the drama.
