Lihaaf: The Quilt (2021) is a Drama Bollywood Film released on 31 July 2021 on OTT Platform Voot Select.

Lihaaf: The Quilt is based on Ismat Chughtai's Book Lihaaf. The book was a collection of Short Stories written in Urdu. It was published in 1942. Ismat Chughtai had to face Court Trial with the charges of obscenity that depicted the objectionable relationship of two women.

Rahat Kazmi has directed Lihaaf. He is also a part of the Production team, Editing Team, Writing Team, and Actors.

Tariq Khan, Zeba Sajit, Ashish Wagh, and Namita Lal are other producers of the film. Namita Lal has also played a supporting role in the film like Rahat Kazmi.

Tannishtha Chatterjee and Sonal Sehgal have played the lead roles in the Film. Virendra Saxena, Anushka Sen, Tariq Khan, and Mir Sarwar have played pivotal supporting roles in the Film.

Movie Plot

"Lihaaf: The Quilt" is a story of two women Ismat Chugtai (Tannishtha Chatterjee) and Begum Jaan (Sonal Sehgal). The movie depicts their story of a Lesbian relationship.
