Movie Plot

The large Khot family in the village is highly superstitious. The family members do not like to apply their logical minds over superstitions. However, three members of the family, namely Anant Khot (Dilip Prabhavalkar), his son, Madhav (Adinath Kothare), and nephew, Dr. Ajay (Sagar Talashikar), believe in logical conclusions. 

The story takes a dramatic turn when Anand Khot dies. The village priest, Joshi Guruji (Vidyadhar Joshi), declares that the demise happened during Panchak, a specific celestial condition that might lead to an event happening five times a year. According to Joshi Guru, a death during Panchak can bring impending deaths in the family. However, some rituals might reduce the intensity of the Panchak era.
