As a result, Javed Khan is taken into custody, and Court Martial proceedings are initiated against him.

Major Akash Kapoor (Javed Jaffrey) and Major Siddhant Chaudhary (Rahul Bose) are the best friends-cum-army lawyers with opposite personalities. While Akash seems to be a dedicated officer, Siddhant is a carefree army officer who reluctantly joined the army to live up to his father's legacy.

Siddhant gets appointed as the Defense Lawyer of Javed Khan (Deepak Dobriyal and Akash gets deputed as the Prosecution Lawyer. However, the General Court Martial is merely after a show trial because everyone has already decided Javed Khan is a culprit, and Akash is one of them.

Akash advises Siddhant to plead guilty on behalf of Javed Khan. Siddhant gets convinced and makes a poor interrogation attempt, whereas Javed Khan prefers to keep his silence.

In the meantime, a journalist, Kavya Shastri (Minissha Lamba), who tried to cover the Javed Khan, did not get permission to meet him. Kavya met Siddhant and later published an article by adding some spices.

A twist in the story

The Court Marital begins, and surprisingly, Siddhant pleads not guilty on behalf of Javed Khan. Siddhant's decision to defend Javed Khan takes everyone aback, including Javed Khan (Deepak Dobiriyal). However, Javed confesses to shooting Major Virendra Singh Rathore (Pankaj Tripathi) dead. Meanwhile, the witnesses either go missing or die.

What is the truth? Did Javed Khan shoot Major Rathore? If yes, what was the reason behind it?
