Movie PlotShailaja Desai (Shefali Shah) lives happily in Mumbai with her husband, Dipankar (Swanand Kirkire). They have a son who lives in another city for his studies. The situation takes a dramatic turn when she is diagnosed with a brain disease that will slowly destroy her memory. Consequently, Shailaja has to take early retirement from her job. Shailaja wishes to cope with her remaining memories, plans to revisit her childhood, and requests Dipankar to take her to Vengurla, a small town in Konkan, where she spent most of his pre-teen age. Dpiankar is though reluctant but agrees to accompany Shaiaja's wish. Dipankar and Shilaja visit Vengurla, where the latter starts a journey to live her childhood again. She pays a surprise visit to Pradeep, her childhood friend. Pradeep has not seen Shailja for the last thirty years. Shailja asks elated Pradeep Kamat (Jaideep Ahlawat) to take her to the places where they spent most of their childhood together. Pradeep agrees to Shailja and starts spending time with her. On the other hand, Dipankar feels uncomfortable when he witnesses the never-before-seen close bonding of Shailja and Pradeep, who were once in love. |
