Race 2 is the sequel and 2nd Movie of the Race Series after Race (2008). A much hyped movie since very much expectations were there after majestic success of Race (2008). Race 2 is directed by Abbas Mastan who also directed Race (2008).

Ranvir Singh (Saif Ali Khan) wants to finish a gangster Armaan Malik (John Abraham). For this he made a plan to steal the Shroud of Turin.  Armaan has to borrow 15 Billion Euros from Godfather Anza (Aditya Pancholi) .  All of them have their own game plans.
 
Besides these Armaan’s Aleena (Deepika Padukone), Armaan’s Girlfriend Omisha (Jacqueline Fernandez) and Ex Cop Rober D’Costa ( Anil Kapoor) have their own hidden agenda.

Humraaz (2002) Directed by Abbas Mustan

Karan (Akshaye Khanna) and Priya (Ameesha Patel) leads a dance troupe and are deeply in love with each other. They find a chance to perform on a cruise ship which is owned by businessman Raj (Bobby Deol)  who falls in love with Priya in very first sight and eventually proposes her to marry.

Karan by knowing the fact prepares a plan to take Raj’s money with the help of Priya who becomes counterpart of Karan in this gruesome plan. Raj and Priya get married but soon Raj came to know about the illicit affair of Priya with Karan.  In a strange reaction Raj managed to get Karan ready to kill Priya and also execute a full proof plan of the murder.

Naqaab (2007) Directed by Abbas Mustan

Naqaab as the name suggests unmask a bitter truth in the movie. Sophia (Urvashi Sharma) is all set to marry with Karan (Bobby Deol) a wealthy Actor. But in a dramatic change Vicky Malhotra (Akshaye Khanna) a struggling actor enters in her life before she actually marries to Karan. Sophia attracted towards Vicky and decided to go with him. Due to this sudden shock Karan commits suicide.

Things got worse when Sophia came to know that it was Vicky was merely hired by Rohit Shroff to create the whole scenario just to make a realistic movie on the subject. When Sophia met with Rohit she shocked to know that Rohit is Karan.

Vivaan (Rajeev Khandelwal) and Siya (Tina Desai) is a happily married couple. They enter into a weird game just to win unbelievable amount. Once entered there is no exit. And the game began.
 
Paresh Rawal the game organiser and Rajeev Khandelwal have done excellent job. The movie goes with such a pace which don’t allow the viewers to leave their seat even for a second.

Raj (Shahid Kapoor), a struggling actor, met with Priya (Kareena Kapoor) who has run away from home. They find a child and come to know that the kid was son of one Ms Sonia Chang (Isha Koppikar) who is a billionaire and lives in Goa.  Tempting with the huge reward Priya and Raj decide to go Goa to return the son of Sonia Chang only to find that she is murdered.

Raj (Bobby Deol) and Priya (Kareena Kapoor) are happily married and live in Switzerland. They meet and become good friend with another Indian Couple Vikram ( Akshay Kumar) and Sonia (Bipasha Basu). Soon Sonia tries to seduce Raj and Vikram tried to convince Raj for wife swapping but they both failed badly. However, somehow they managed to keep their friendship alive.

One day Sonia is found dead and every finger pointed out towards Raj who has no option but to flee from Police unknowing that Sonia is still live.

Inspector shekhawat loses his 8 year's son. Instead of returning returning to the normal life with his wife he has to investigate a car accident later turn into a murder mystery.

Climax of the movie will stun you if you have not heard the story of this movie earlier. Mr. Perfectionist with Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are at their best in the movie.

Hamraaz (1967)

Kumar (Sunil Dutt) is a famous artist who performs with his partner Shabnam (Mumtaz) who secretly loves him.  Kumar falls for Meena (Vinni) and finally get married. But soon things changed drastically when Kumar noticed that Meena stats behaving strange and suspicious and later found dead.

The director successfully maintained the suspense till the end. The movie bears a number of super hit songs like Na Moonh Chupa Ke Jiyo, Tu Husn Hai Main Ishq Hoon, Tum Agar Saath Dene Ka, Neele Gagan Ke Tale, Kisi Patthar Ki Moorat Se , however, these songs does not come across the suspense element.

Aksar (2006)

Rocky (Emraan Hashmi) is like a playboy in addition to be a very good photographer. Nisha (Tara Sharma) attempted suicide after being dumped by Rocky and due to this reason Sheena (Udita Goswami) friend of Nisha become ferocious with Rocky.

After few years Rocky holds a photography exhibition but all the pictures were brought by a rick investor Raj (
Dino Morea) but with the condition to seduce and sleep with his wife so that he can take divorce with the his wife without sharing his assets.  Rocky accepted the task and came to know that Raj was married to Sheena.
 
Scenario changes very soon and Rocky was murdered. Sheena is the prime suspect and confesses the crime but Raj also confesses murder of Rocky. Who is the main culprit?

In this blood chilling Suspense Thriller, Naina (Taapsee Pannu) is a successful business woman. She was spending time with her boyfriend Arjun (Tony Luke) who found dead in the room and there was no other person in the room except Naina.

Gumnaam (1965)

After winning a contest Eight people (Madan Puri, Pran , Helen, Abhi Bhattacharya, Nanda , Dhumal, Tarun Bose and Manmohan) were sent to a trip to foreign country through an airplane. The Pilot pretext and emergency landing on a remote island and takes of the plane as soon as the last passenger and co-pilot (Manoj Kumar) get down. All of them have to take shelter in a spoofy house with a suspicious Butler and his sister. Soon passengers were murdered one by one. Murderer is definitely one of them.

The film is a musical thriller and the suspense element of the movie is it’s UPS. You keep on guessing the killer till the end of the movie and I bet you would be wrong every time.

Khiladi is basically a comedy movie which later turns towards a Suspense Thriller in its second half. 

Raj Malhotra (
Akshay Kumar), Bonny (Deepak Tijori), Sheetal (Sabeeha) and Neelam Choudhary (Ayesha Jhulka) are very good friends and like to take bet for every trifle thing. While taking such as bet Raj commit to extort money from Mr. Kailash (Prem Chopra) who is a politician and father of Neelam. All of four then goes to a remote place to hide them and ask money from Kailsh declaring them as kidnappers who has kidnapped Sheetal.

Kailash agrees to give them money. Their deal is about to go while Kailash is coming with money from one side Raj and Bonny are coming to collect the money from the other side. In the meantime Sheetal is killed by someone. Who is the Killer?

The Movie depicts story of few hours of a Wednesday with full pace.  No time to care for your breath. No boring scenes, no melodrama and no single screen masala. Yet the movie is loved by every class of the society. The movie was made in a trifle budget of 5 Cror and earned around 34 Cror worldwide. A must watch suspense Bollywood Movie.

A group of con men conduct raid posing CBI Officers and rob big guns. Investigating officer succeeded to fit two policemen in their team who are going to make the biggest robbery at a jewellery shop with out knowing the web set by the investigation officer.

This movie keeps you very busy in guessing work but the suspense element is so good that you see it opening your eyes wide. The director did not allow the viewer to guess right. A superb movie to watch with excellant performance of  Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Sheirgill and  Divya Dutta.

Murder (2004)

Simran (Mallika) feels lonely as her Husband is not able to spend quality time with her. She tends towards Sunny (Emraan), her lover in past. Everything seems right until her husband (Ashmit Patel) do not get any clue about their illicit affair. Now she wants to get rid of Sunny but Sunny is not in the mood to break the relationship and was murdered.

The movie was made in a budget of 5 Cror and collected 25 Cror worldwide. Songs Kaho Na Kaho and Bheege Hont Tere became very popular at that time. The later proved to be a sensetional blockbuster song.

Gupt:The Hidden Truth (1997)
Directed by Rajiv Rai

Sahil  (Bobby Deol) is son of Sharda (Priya Tendulkar,) who started living with Governor Sinha (Raj Babbar) after the death of her husband. Sahil do not like his step father at all. He loves Isha (Kajol) on the other hand  Sheetal (Manisha Koirala) loves Sahil but this appears a one sided love.

Governor Sinha is murdered and finger pointed about Sahil and he was arrested by the Police. Sahil escaped from police custody only to prove his innocence but inspector Udham Singh (Om Puri) has wowed to catch him. Sahil feels helpless when everyone is killed who could prove Sahil innocent.

This movie also keeps its suspense alive throughout the movie and it revealed just a few minutes before the move ends. The movie is must watch for Suspense movie lovers.

Ittefaq (1969)
Directed by Yash Chopra

Dilip Roy (Rajesh Khanna) is a painter and likes his paintings more than everything else. His wife sometimes curses about painting and they get fight over there. His Sister-In-Law Renu ( Bindu) is well aware of the fact.  One day wife of Dilip Roy is killed and police arrested him after Renu give testament against him.

Dalip was sent to a mental asylum due to his mental condition. He then somehow managed to escape from there and find shelter in a house where Rekha (Nanda) lives with his husband Mr. Jagmohan who is about to return from Kolkata in a day or two.  Dalip threat Rekha on gunpoint and Rekha does as he orders.

Dalip found dead body of Mr. Jagmohan in the bathroom and calls police. But police found nothing in the bathroom. However, Mr. Jagmohan was found dead and his body was gathered from somewhere else. Police now accused Dalip for the 2nd murder.

Ittefaq (1969) is a remake of an American movie Signpost to Murder (1965). This movie became the fourth song less movie after Naujawan, Munna and Kanoon (1960).

Ranvir Singh (Saif Ali Khan) and Rajvir Singh (Akshaye Khanna) are brothers. Ranvir loves Sonia (Bipasha Basu) but is person Secretary Sophiya (Katrina Kaif) loves Ranvir secretly.  Rajvir soon attracted towards Sonia and Ranir gets aside due to his love and affection towards his brother. But the truth is that Rajvir wants to kill Ranvir with the help of Sonia to get $100 Millions from insurance company if Ranvir dies naturally or in an accident.Ranvir Singh was killed in an accident and inspector Rober D’Costa allies RD (Anil Kapoor) started investigating the matter

The film surprises us very often and we also get some shocks during the movie when it takes unexpected turns. The movie will hold your nerves chill till the end.

A fantastic suspense movie with good songs like  Zara Zara Touch Me, Khwab Dekhe (Sexy Lady) and Race Saanson Ki  add spices in the movie .

Drishyam (2015)
Directed by Nishikant Kamat

Sam (Rishab Chadha) son of Inspector General of Goa Police (Tabu) did not return home police started investigation. Their investigations ends with Vijay Salgaonkar  (Ajay Devgn) an illiterate person who loved to watch movie. He lives with his wife (Shriya Saran) and two daughters.

Vijay has strong evidences that he, alongwith his family, was out of town on the day when Sam gone missing. However, the IGP has her own plan to reach out the truth.

Drishyam is a remake of a 2013 Malyalam Film with the same title. The movie reveals the real culprit very soon and it is very difficult to keep the audience glued to their seat till the climax. But hats off to the director Nishikant Kaamt who successfully uphold the suspense of the movie till the very last scene of the movie.  The climax is unbelievable. You will feel the chill while you reach the climax.

A pregnant woman Vidya Bagchi (Vidya Balan) comes to Kolkata to search her missing husband. But nothing seems go right in her way.

The USP of this movie is that the audience did not find any time to think about the climax. The suspense of the movie is maintained till the last short of the movie and no guess work works for the audience.  The climax makes audience stunned just because no one in the audience could presume the superb and great end.  The movie was made in the budget of 8 Cror only and it was a blockbuster of the year and earned 108 Cror.
