Kumudini becomes pregnant after many years, but she meets with an accident in which her baby dies in the womb. Doctors say that she can never be a mother again. Shirish hides this truth from Kumudini. On the other hand, Kumudini wants to beget a child at any cost.
Soon, Kumudini gets to know the truth, which leads to an argument between the couple. The argument goes to such an extreme level that Kumudini kills Shirish and buries his body in the courtyard of the house.
In the meantime, the desire to have a child becomes so acute that Kumudini undergoes a mental disorder and declares herself pregnant without being pregnant.
When Dr. Shreyas (Chinmay Udgirkar) asks about Dr. Shirish, he starts doubting the gestures of Kumudini.
