Movie Plot

Ramcharan (Farooq Shaikh) marries Janki (Rekha) against the wishes of his elder brother, Kalicharan (Raza Murad). Enraged, Kalicharan disowns the couple, forcing them to leave his house.

Homeless, the newlyweds seek refuge with Ramcharan's friend, Ashok Mishra (Shafi Inamdar). However, Ashok's sinister intentions come to light when he attempts to molest Janki, leaving the couple no choice but to flee the village. In time, Janki gives birth to a daughter, Khusboo.

Life takes another tragic turn when Ramcharan is gravely injured, and Janki desperately needs money for his treatment. Bansi (Harish Patel) introduces her to Girdhari Lal (Prem Chopra), a wealthy but vile man who takes advantage of her vulnerable situation and assaults her.

Determined to seek justice, Janki approaches Inspector Khan (Parikshat Sahni), but he dismisses her plea and refuses to act against Girdhari Lal. Meanwhile, a recovering Ramcharan confronts Girdhari Lal himself but pays with his life.

Now widowed and shattered, Janki is left to fend for herself and her young daughter, wandering the streets in despair. Fate intervenes when they are hit by the car of Gauri Shankar (Mithun Chakraborty), a feared gangster with a compassionate side. Moved by their plight, Gaurishankar takes them under his wing.

With Gaurishankar's help, Janki gathers the courage to seek revenge on the people who destroyed her life - Ashok Mishra, Girdhari Lal, and even her estranged brother-in-law Kalicharan.
