The film is based on the novel series Empire of the Moghul by Alex Rutherford. The entire series is divided into eight (8) episodes.
The Web Series depicts the rise and fall of the Mughal Empire starting Babur to Aurangzeb. The Series focuses on the Mughal Empire Babur, portrayed by Kunal Kapoor. The drama begins with the 14years young Prince (Zahir-Ud-Din Muhammad Babur). The Series reveals some untouched facts about Babur and focuses on his journey towards setting up the Mughal Empire in Northern India.
