Focus 2022 is an Indian Telugu-language Mystery Thriller film released in cinemas on 28 October 2022. The Hindi dubbed version, with the same name was uploaded on the YouTube Channel of Mango Indian Film on 12 July 2023.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a "UA" rating to the Telugu-language film Focus, vide certificate No. DIL/2/156/2022-HYD dated 5 August 2022. The runtime of the film is 118 Minutes and 47 Seconds.

Movie Plot

The Public Prosecutor, Pramodha Devi (Suhasini Maniratnam), is about to become a high court judge in the next ten days. She and her husband, Vivek Varma (Bhanu Chander), visit their farmhouse to spend some spare time together.

A police team, including S.I. Vijay Shankar (Vijay Shankar), is celebrating the birthday of a senior police officer in the vicinity. Surprisingly, someone stabs and kills SP (Bhanu Chander) in the farmhouse.

The police team receives information and starts the investigation under the SI Vijay Shankar and his assistant, Hussain (Bharath Reddy).

Crime confession

An old-aged man (Surya Bhagwan) surrenders in the police station and confesses the killing of SP Vivek Sharma. DSP (Jeeva) informs the media accordingly.

However, on inquiry, it reveals that the man wanted to avenge the death of his daughter from the SP, and consequently, he shot SP down. On the contrary, the preliminary investigation suggests that the killer stabbed the SP.

A twist in the story

The police commissioner (Sayaji Shinde) becomes upset and asks Vijay Shankar to find the real culprit, at the earlier.

Vijay doubts the domestic help of SP Vivek Sharma, who confesses that he killed the SP for a bag of money. Vijay Shankar presents the killer before the commissioner, and the police team arranges one more media conference to inform the truth. However, in the meantime, the postmortem reveals that the SP died due to poison.

The failure of the police department results in the appointment of Prema (Ashu Reddy), a CID officer, to find the killer of SP Vivek Sharma.

Vijay Shankar wants to solve the case and requests the commissioner to grant some time, but the CID officer reaches out to take over the charge.
