Freedom is an Indian Tamil -language ( Action and Thriller ) film released in cinemas on 10 July 2025.
In 1991, a group of people who had fled their country to seek safety arrived in India. However, police arrested them for a crime they did not do. Even though they did nothing wrong, they were locked up in a jail inside Vellore Fort.
Later, they were proven innocent, but many of them were still not set free. They had to stay in jail for many more years. In 1995, 43 of them planned to get their freedom by escaping from jail. Will they get their freedom?
