Shershaah is a Bollywood War Action Biographical Movie earlier scheduled to be released on 3 July 2020. However, the release was postponed due to COVID 19 epidemics and the film finally released on 12 August 2021 on OTT Platform Amazon Prime Videos.

Shershaah is a story of Captain Vikram Batra who was awarded Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest and the most prestigious awards for valour, for his unmatched bravery in ‘Operation Vijay’ during the Kargil War 1999. Captain Batra was martyred on 7 July 1999 at the age of only 24 during the Kargil War and awarded with Param Vir Chakra on 15 August 1999.
Sidharth Malhotra plays the Character of Captain Vikram Batra and his identical twin brother Vishal, whereas, Kiara Advani plays the character of Dimple Cheema, fiancee of Captain Vikram Batra.
