The Archies is an Indian Hindi-language ( Musical and Drama ) film released directly on the OTT platform Netflix on 07 December 2023.
Debutants Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, and Khushi Kapoor are in the lead roles in The Archies. All three lead characters need no introduction because they belong to the respected film families of Bollywood.
Agastya Nanda is the son of Nikhil Nanda and Shweta Nanda (daughter of Amitabh Bachchan). Suhana Khan is the daughter of Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as King Khan. She is essaying the character of Veronica Cecilia Lodge, one of the main characters in the Archie Comics franchise. Khushi Kapoor is the daughter of Producer-Director Boney Kapoor and actress Late Sridevi.
The film is an Indian adaptation of the Archie Comics and a musical one set in the 60s.
Netflix officially announced The Archies on 14 May 2022 through a Teaser. However, the shooting of the film began on 18 April 2022.
