Thiruttu Payale 2 is an Indian Tamil -language ( Crime and Thriller ) film released in cinemas on 30 November 2017.
The movie is a spiritual sequel to earlier movie Thiruttu Payale (2016). Both movies are Written and Directed by Susi Ganeshan. Bobby Simha, Amala Paul and Prasanna have played the lead role in the movie.
The movie is about a dead honest cop Selvam (Bobby Simha) who never gets rewarded for his honesty instead he receives frequent transfers from one city to another. Finally, due to his clean image he was assigned to tape and trace phone calls of VIPs, VVIPs and other big guns of the state.
Selvam starts a parallel tapping and tracing section unauthorized & illegally and starts blackmailing those big guns. This act earns him lots of money which he saves in the name of Benami. In the meantime Selvam falls for Agalya (Amala Paul) and they get married.
During tracing such calls he comes across a telephonic conversion of his wife, Agalya with Balki (Prasanna). Having understood that his wife has an extra maritial affair with Balki, Selvan goes after Balki. However, Balki remains one step ahead of Selvam. What happens next?
