Tohfa (1984) is a Masala Bollywood Movie released on 3 February, 1984 starring Sridevi, Jaya Prada and Jeetendra in lead roles. The movie was produced and D. Rama Naidu and directed by K. Raghavendra Rao who also directed Devata (1982) on which Tohafa (1984) was based. He also wrote the Screenplay of the movie whereas the dialogues were written by Kader Khan.
Movie Plot: Lalita (Sridevi) and Ram (Jeetendra) live in the same village and love each other. Unknowing to the face Janaki (Jaya Prada), sister of Lalita also starts liking Ram. When Lalita comes to know about Janaki’s love interest he sacrifices her love for Janaki and marries to a Kaamesh Singh (Shakti Kapoor) and leaves the village. Ram and Janaki get married thereafter for many years until Lalita enters in their Ram encounters Lalita and comes to know that she is mother of his 9 years old son. Things get more complicated when Janaki starts doubting Ram having affair with Lalita.
