The Tamil-language film "V1" received its CBFC certificate (No. DIL/2/107/2019-Che) on 06 November 2019, with an initial runtime of 111 Minutes and 34 Seconds , accompanied by a UA (Universal Adult) rating. In a notable update, a revised certificate was issued on 24 December 2019, reflecting a slight reduction in runtime to 112 Minutes and 04 Seconds and a change in rating to UA (Universal Adult).

Movie Plot

Inspector Agni (Ram Arun Castro) is a forensic expert. After his wife accidentally dies at home, Agni suffers from nyctophobia (fear of the darkness or night). After the traumatic incidents, Agni did not take new investigation cases and started teaching forensic science tips to the academy.

Inspector Luna (Vishnupriya Pillai), a colleague and best friend of Agni, convinces him to take the case of a recently murdered young woman, Narmadha (Gayathri). After some initial reluctance, Agni agrees with Luna and starts investigating the case.

Narmadha used to live with his partner Inba (Lijeesh), who started doubting Narmadha. Agni thinks that Inba is innocent, and Luna strongly believes that Inba is the killer. However, Luna's belief shatters when Inba is found dead.
