The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a (UA) rating to the Telugu -language film 118, vide certificate No. DIL/2/27/2019-HYD on 25 February 2019 . The runtime of the film is 126 Minutes and 00 Seconds.

Mission 118 is a Hindi Dubbed version of the Telugu language Thriller film 118 released on 1 March 2019.

Movie Plot

Gautham (Nandamuri Kalyan Ram) is an investigative journalist who has recently exposed a big illegal money scam. The big expose makes his boss (Mukhtar Khan) happy for Gautham.

During a stay in the Paradise resort, Gautham dream about a girl. In his dream, two people are beating the girl badly. However, the face of the girl does not appear in his dream.

Gautham also sees a car thrown into a lake. He wakes up after the horrible dream and finds it is 1:18 at night.

Gautham forgets about the dream until he revisits Paradise resort and stays in the same room. While sleeping in room No. 118, Gautham again sees the same visions, but the face of the girl reveals this time. Gautham awakes from his sleep and sees it is 1:18 in the night again.

The same dream twice, and that is too at the same time makes Gautham curious about his dream. He soon finds the lake he sees in his dream. Moreover, the police take out a car from the lake. It is the same car Gautham sees in his visions.

Gautham now wants to find the girl. The investigation leads him to another girl (Hari Teja). Gautham's fiancee Megha (Shalini Pandey), and his friend (Prabhas Sreenu) help him find the missing girl.

Gautham starts investigating the issue with the help of things he sees in his dreams. He also seeks the help of a doctor (Nassar) to understand his visions.

Soon Gautham finds that the missing girl is Aradhdya (Nivetha Thomas), who has been missing for eight months.

118 Movie Review

Film 118 is an Investigating Thriller, and the director focused on the subject brilliantly. How Gautham investigates things without any clue about an unknown girl seems good and makes the film watchable.

However, there is nothing new in the climax. The film seems inspired by the Hindi film Ghajni (2008). Further, the film loses its pace many a time.

The entire film is on the shoulder of Gautham (Nandamuri Kalyan Ram), and he acts well. Nivedita Thomas is good, Shalini Pandey does not get much screen space, and Prabhas Sreenu is also good.

118 is a fine film to watch, but its climax is not as impactful as it should be. Bollywood Product gives the film a rating of 6 out of 10.
