1920 London is Hindi -language ( Horror , Suspense ,and Thriller ) film released in cinemas on 06 May 2016.
Princes Shivani (Meera Chopra) lives in London with her husband Kunwar Veer Singh (Vishal Karwal). She suddenly visits Rajasthan, her parent's palace, without informing her in-laws.
On asking the reason for it, Shivangi informs her father and brother that her husband is possessed by a ghost/evil power. She doubts that her in-laws are behind the act.
Shivangi and her family visit an exorcist (Gajendra Chauhan) and tell him the problem. The exorcist (Tantrik) asks for a photograph of Kunwar Veer Singh and starts chanting in front of a big mirror to call the evil spirit.
The evil spirit comes and pulls the exorcist inside the mirror and throws him back after some time. The exorcist shows his helplessness to overpower the evil spirit.
However, he refers to Mewar Baba, the most powerful spiritual master and the only person who can confront the evil power. Surprisingly no one is ready to go to Mewar Baba. When Shivangi forcefully asks one of her servants, he informs that Jai Singh Gujjar (Sharman Joshi) is the Mewar Baba.
Jai Singh Gujjar belongs to a lower caste. However, he is in love with Shivangi, who also loves him. One day uncle of Shivangi sees them together and attempts to molest her by blackmailing her. Jai Singh beats the uncle, who reports it to the King with false charges upon Jai Singh.
A court hears the matter where Jai Singh tells the truth. However, Shivangi refuses to befriend Jai Singh and denies all allegations against her uncle. Consequently, Jai Singh receives a punishment of five years in jail.
Shivangi visits Jai Singh and requests him to save her husband. Initially, Jai refuses to help Shivangi because he still has those bad memories of her. However, when Shivangi pleads for help, Jai agrees to go to London.
Jai and Shivangi visit London. Jai starts investigating the matter and discovers that strange things are happening after Kunwar Veer receives an amulet, which becomes the medium of transmission of the evil power to Veer. An unknown admirer from Rajasthan has sent the amulet as a gift.
Jai informs Shivangi that he has to throw the amulet into the nearby river, and while he goes to throw the talisman, Shivangi has to recite a spiritual chant without any hindrance.
Jai suggests to Shivangi that the evil spirit can do anything to distract her. However, she has to chant continuously for fifteen minutes.
Jai starts towards the river with the amulet, and Shivangi starts the spiritual chanting. The evil power also attempts to thwart Shivangi from the spiritual chanting.
The evil power plays a foul game, and Shivangi stops the chanting before the stipulated time, and Jai fails to complete the task. Moreover, a big surprise is waiting for Shivangi, which is beyond her imagination.
Who is behind the evil power? What happens to Kunwar Veer Singh? Will Jai overpower the ghost? Film 1920 London gives replies to all these queries.
