Plot Summary of Hindi Film Aankh Micholi (2023)

Aankh Micholi [meaning - Hide and Seek] is an Indian Hindi-language (Bollywood) Family-Comedy movie released on November 03, 2023. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a U rating to the Hindi-language film Aankh Micholi, vide certificate No. DIL/1/22/2021-MUM dated March 10, 2021. The runtime of the film is 144 Minutes and 16 Seconds.

Umesh Shukla, who earlier directed OMG (2012), All Is Well (2015), and 102 Not Out, is the Director of Aankh Micholi. He is also the Co-Producer of the film along with Ashish Wagh.

Jitendra Parmar has written the screenplay. Jitendra earlier wrote dialogues for the films like 36 China Town (2006), Naqaab (2007), Race (2008), and Horn 'OK' Pleassss (2009). He also wrote Story for Housefull 3 (2016).

Movie Plot

The movie Aankh Micholi tells the story of a family, with each member suffering from some form of disability or the other.

Navjot Singh (Paresh Rawal) is the head of the family. He suffers from poor memory, and he keeps forgetting things, names, faces, etc. He has two sons, Yuvraj (Sharman Joshi) and Harbhajan (Abhishek Banerjee),  and one daughter, Paro (Mrunal Thakur).

Yuvraj has a hearing problem, Harbhajan stammers, whereas Paro suffers from night blindness and thus cannot see at night. Yuvraj (Sharman Joshi) is married (wife played by Divya Dutta) and has a child.

The family receives a marriage proposal from Rohit Patel (Abhimanyu Dassani), an NRI, for Paro. Rohit soon visits India with his uncle (Darshan Jariwala) and aunt (Grusha Kapoor).

The family struggles to hide Paro's night blindness from Rohit and his family. It's challenging in a household where one person forgets things, another has a hearing problem, and someone stammers.

What happens next? Will the family manage to keep the secret? Will Rohit marry Paro? The film Aankh Micholi gives replies to all such queries.
