Aankhen (1993) is a Bollywood Comedy Movie released on 09 April, 1993. The movie was produced by Pahlaj Nihlani, written by Anees Bazmee and directed by David Dhawan making the 4th movie with Govinda after Taaqatwar (1989), Swarg (1990) and Shola Aur Shabnam (1992).
Aankhen (1993) stars Devid Dhawan’s favourite Govinda, Chunkey Pandey, Shilpa Shirodkar, Raageshwari Loomba, Ritu Shivpuri, Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover and Kader Khan in lead roles. Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Raj Babbar, Bindu and Guddy Maruti also play vital roles in the movie. Govinda and Kader Khan were noiminated for Filmfare Awards in the category of Best Actor and Best Comic Actor, respectively.
Movie Plot: Bunnu (Govinda) and Munnu (Chunkey Pandey) are brothers and Son of a wealthy businessman Hasmukh Rai (Kader Khan) who is frustrated due to the notorious acts and pranks done by Bunnu and Munnu.
While doing such a prank the situation gets worse where Bunnu is witnesses something that he should not be and disappears. Ironically Bunnu is assumed dead and Munnu is framed for his murder. The story takes another turn when a villager Gauri Shankar (Govinda in Double Role) comes in the City and chaos ensues everywhere. But what they all don’t know that their life is at stake.
