Bloody Daddy is the Hindi adaption of the French Action Thriller film Nuit Blanche [meaning- Sleepless Nights], released in 2011. Tomer Sisley played the lead role in Nuit Blanche.
Thoongaa Vanam, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, is a remake of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche [meaning- Sleepless Nights]. The Telugu version was named Cheekati Rajyam [meaning Kingdom of Darkness].
Kamal Haasan, Trisha Krishnan, and Prakash Raj played lead roles in Thoongaa Vanam.

Sumair (Shahid Kapoor) is a top cop but does not act as a policeman. He runs a dysfunctional family doesn’t do him any good. Sumair, however, is emotional toward his son.
The smooth life of Sumair gets a halt when he gets entrapped in a narcotics-stealing screw-up. The drugs belong to the dreaded drug dealer Sikander (Ronit Roy). He kidnaps the son of Sumair and demands his drugs back to return his son safely.
After finalizing the deal, Sumair finds that the drug worth Rs. 50 Crore has vanished. He now sets out to form an alternate plan to save his son from Sikander.
