Chitrakut - Hindi Film 2022

Chitrakut is a Hindi language Romantic film initially released on 16 December 2018 at the South Asian International Film Festival. The film was released in India Theatrically on 20 May 2022.

Himanshu Malik is the Writer, Director, and one of the Producers of Chitrakut. He has also played the character of Head Chef in the film. Akbar Arabiyan is the other Producer of Chiktrakut.

Somesh Saha is the Music Director, Hardeep Sachdev is the Cinematographer, and Praveen Ayirattu is the Film Editor.

Movie Plot

Saloni (Auritra Ghosh), Shaan (Kiran Srinivas), Alisha (Naina Trivedi), Debu (Vibhore Mayank), Kim (Shruti Bapna), Ashwin (Akash Dhar) are enjoying their love life with their respective partners.

Their life converges at different intersections of life, discovering the meaning of love, encapsulating fractured feelings, consumption of romantic longing, and fleeting moments.

Full Story

Chitrakut revolves around six people and three different love stories. Debut, Alisha, Ashwin, Kim, Shaan, and Saloni. The film depicts their love stories with some twists.

The first story 

Debu (Vibhore Mayank)  is a Chef. He loves his friend Alisha (Naina Trivedi), whereas Alisha has no such feelings for Debut because she still loves her ex-boyfriend, who is presently abroad.

The Second story 

Debu meets Kim (Shruti Bapna), befriends her, and wants to be cozy with her. However, she loves Ashwin (Akash Dhar), a gangster. Debu joins Ashwin and his gang.

The Third story 

Saloni (Auritra Ghosh) and Shaan (Kiran Srinivas) are friends. Saloni loves Shaan, who pretends to love her too. However, Shaan is merely using her for his monetary benefits. Saloni soon realizes the truth but still sends Shaan to Goa for his best because she loves Shaan very much.

Alisha's ex-boyfriend (Mallhar Goenka) returns from abroad and lands in Goa, India. Alisha also visits Goa to meet her ex-boyfriend. However, her ex-boyfriend has no interest in him.

Alisha meets Shaan (Saloni's love interest) in Goa and befriends him.

Saloni stays in Mumbai, meets Debu, and becomes cozy with him.

Kim is still with Aswin, the Gangster.
