Dangal is an Indian Hindi-language ( Biographical , Drama ,and Sports ) film released in cinemas on 23 December 2016.

Dangal (2016) is a Bollywood Sports Drama Movie released on 23 December, 2016 (India). The movie was directed Nitesh Tiwari who earlier directed Chillar Party (2011) and Bhoothnath Returns (2016). The movie was produced by Aditya Roy Kapur, Kiran Rao and the lead actor Aamir Khan. 

Dangal (2016) stars Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Zaira Wasim, Sanya Malhotra, Aparshakti Khurana and Girish Kulkarni in lead roles. Dangal (2016) was proved an all time blockbuster and also became the Highest Grossing Bollywood Movie of 2016 followed by Sultan and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. 

Dangal (2016) Movie Plot: Mahavir Singh Phogat (Aamir Khan) is a former amateur wrestler of Indian Style and has to leave wrestling due to undue force of his father. Depressed by the situation he wants to train his future son to win Gold Medal for the country. But unfortunately he has four daughters only. 

One day his elder daughters Geeta (FatimaSana Khan) and Babita (Sanya Malhotra) fight and beat a village girl and Mahavir finds a hope of light that even his daughter can win Gold for India. He starts their training which they reluctantly appreciated by the same. But orthodox villages start talking rubbish about him.

Soon both Geeta and Babeeta start winning wrestling matches. After winning National Level wrestling championship Geeta has to visit Patiala where she would be trained by New Coach Pramod Kadam (Girish Kulkarni) who does not like Indian style of Mahavir Phogat. He trains Geeta in his own style and Geets stars losing matches. Mahavir Singh has now decides to train her daughter himself for forthcoming Commonwealth Games but he is now allowed to do so.
