Plot Summary of Telugu Film Dhruva (2016)

Dhruva (2016) is an official remake of Tamil Movie Thani Oruvan (2015). 

Movie plot

A low-level party cadre, Jungle Naydu (Posani Krishna Murali), witnesses a rage killing by a party leader who then coerces him into taking the blame. However, young Sidharth Abhimanyu, Jungle Naydu's son, takes the fall himself, securing a promise for an MLA seat for his father in the upcoming election. Grown-up Sidharth (Arvind Swami) emerges from jail as a renowned scientist, but he is actually a white-collar criminal who exploits the medical field for his own gain.

Dhruva (Ram Charan), an IPS trainee, and his friends Gowtham (Navdeep), Ranveer (Randhir Gattla), Ali Reza, and others have formed a covert group that assists the police. They discover Sidharth's criminal activities and devise a plan to take him down.

Meanwhile, Sidharth implants a capsule in Dhruva's body containing a GPS and voice tracker, allowing him to monitor Dhruva's every move and even his heartbeat. Dhruva’s efforts to execute the plan falter, leading to the death of his friend Gowtham, who is killed by Sidharth.

The movie concludes with a dramatic twist that ties together the various threads of the story, leaving the audience on the edge of their seats and highlighting the enduring struggle between good and evil.
