Dil (1990) is a Romantic Bollywood Movie released on 22 June, 1990. The movie was produced by Ashok Thakariya and Inder Kumar who also directed the movie. The movie starring Amir Khan and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles. Anupam Kher and Saeed Jafrey played vital roles in the movie. DIL proved to be a Blockbuster and became the Highest Grossing Bollywood Movie in the year 1990. Madhuri Dixit won the Best Actress Filmfare Award for the movie. Movie Plot: Hazari Prasad (Anupam Kher) is a miser Scrap Dealer who wants his son Raja (Amir Khan) to marry with a rich girl. Raja meets arrogant Madhu (Madhuri Dixit) in college and indulges in clashes with her and they become enemies. Hazari Prasad poses to be a very rich man before Mr. Mehra (Saeed Jafrey) and befriends with him. Soon Hazari Prasad manages to convince Mr. Mehra to marry her daughter with Raja without knowing that the girl is Madhu. Raja and Madhu both denies for their knot but circumstances changes and they fall in love with each other and finally agree to tie the knot. The situation gets worse when Mr. Mehra comes to know about the financial status of Hazari Prasad and insults him very much. Now Hazari Prasad and Mr. Mehra are enemies and they don’t want their wards to marry with each other at any cost. |
