Do Raaste (1969) is an Indian Bollywood Drama Movie released on 5 December, 1969 (India). The movie was produced and directed by Raj Khosla. Do Raaste (1969) was nominated in seven categories in Filmfare Award but won only for Best Story by Chandrakant Kakodkar. Raj Khosla was nominated for Filmfare Best Film and Best Director Award and Bindu was nominated for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.

Do Raaste (1969) became Blockbuster on Box Office by earning Rs. 6.5 Crores and also became the Second Highest Grossing Bollywood Movie for the year 1969 after Aradhana that also features Rajesh Khanna in lead roles. Like Aradhana;  Do Raaste  is also one of the 17 consecutive movies of Rajesh Khanna released during 1969 to 1971. 

Music for Do Raaste was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal who were nominated for Filmfare Best Music Director Award but Won the same for Jeene Ki Raah. All songs were authored by Anand Bakshi. 

Do Raaste have some unforgettable songs like Bindiya Chamkegi sung by Lata Mangeshkar who nominated for Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer but won the same for ‘Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage’ from the movie Jeene Ki Raah. Anand Bakshi was also nominated for Filmfare Best Lyricist Award for Bindiya Chamkegi. Other memorable songs of the movie are Ye Reshmi Zulfen, Chhup Gaye Saare Nazaare and Mere Naseeb Mein Ae Dost. 

Do Raaste (1969) Movie Plot:  After the demise of young Navendu (Balraj Sahni) his father remarries with Veena who cares for him like her own children. While on death bed his father takes promise from Navendu to look after his younger step Brothers & Sister namely Birju (Prem Chopra), Satyen (Rajesh Khanna) and Geeta (Kumud Bole). 

Navendru marriages to a sober girl (Kamini Kaushal) and Birju is married to Neelu (Bindu) a foreign return girl who does not like to be orthodox. When problems arise for the family Birju and Neelu leave the house. Hopeless Navendru sells house and has nothing left with him. Satyen who loves Reena (Mumtaz), has to choose between his love and traditional family as Reena is a sister of Neelu and lives in the same atmosphere where is greedy and untraditional sister lives.
