Movie PlotGannu (Jitendra Kumar) is an adult man struggling with alcoholism, residing in the village of Jagodhar. Nirmala (Shriya Pilgaonkar) falls in love with Gannu. She develops deep feelings for Gannu and is determined to marry him. Eventually, Nirmala gets married to Gannu and tries hard to convince Gannu to leave alcohol consumption, but all her efforts are in vain. Soon, Nirmala becomes pregnant and vows to abort the baby if Gannu does not quit alcoholism. Gannu not only agrees to quit alcohol but also sets out on a protest to ban alcohol in the town. However, it leads to conflicts with his influential uncle (Annu Kapoor). Gannu now vows to become a corporator to face his uncle in an attempt to make an alcohol-free town. What happens next? The film Dry Day narrates the rest of the family drama with societal change. |
