Ek Hi Raasta is a Hindi (Bollywood) Action film released on 22 October 1993. Ek Hi Raasta is also the 1977 Drama film featuring Jeetendra, Shabana Azmi, and Asha Sachdev.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued an "A" (only for Adults) rating Certificate bearing No. 2421 on 14 October 1993.
Bhagat Singh (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) is an orderly in the army under Colonel Choudhry (Saeed Jaffrey). Bhagat Singh has a son Karan Singh (Ajay Devgn).
Bhagat Singh wants his son to be an army officer. Colone Choudhry promises Bhagat Singh that he will help Karan to be an army officer only if he deserves it.
Karan meets Priya (Raveena Tandon), and they fall in love. Karan saves Priya from some goons that impress Colonel Choudhry.
Vijay Rathore (Arun Bakshi) is an army officer under Colonel Choudhry. He requests Colonel to appoint his nephew Vikram (Mohnish Bahl) to the army. However, Colonel has already promised Bhagat Singh (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) to appoint his son Karan (Ajay Devgn) as an army officer.
Kubla (Raza Murad) is a terrorist and wants secret information from the army camp. He hires Vikram (Mohnish Bahl) and plans to appoint him as an army officer.
Some goons attack Colonel, and Vikram shoots them dead. When Colonel learns that Vikram is the nephew of Vijay Rathore (Arun Bakshi), he appoints Vikram to the army.
However, Kubla (Raza Murad) planned the fake attack and asked Vikram to take advantage of the situation. In this way, Vikram finally impresses the Colonel and gets the desired job in the army.
In the meantime, Vikram informs Colonel about the relationship between Karan and Priya. Colonel can not tolerate the son of an orderly to his son-in-law by all means. On the other hand, Vijay Rathore, who earlier tortured Karan, tries to save him from the wrath of the Colonel.
Vijay Rathore (Arun Bakshi) learns the truth about his nephew and threatens him with the consequences. Vikram attacks his uncle with a knife. Karan (Ajay Devgn) sees the injured officer and tries to save him.
Vikram tells a lie and alleges Karan's attempt to murder the officer. Moreover, Vijay Rathore dies before giving his statement to Colonel.
As per the orders of the Colonel, an army officer (Sharat Saxena), arrests Karan, who escapes and hides in a dense forest dominated by the dreaded terrorist Kubla (Raza Murad).
