Trivikram Srinivas makes his directorial debut with Guntur Kaaram. Movie PlotVasundhara (Ramya Krishna) gets married to Satyam (Jayaram) and is blessed with a son, Ramana. Marx (Jagpathi Babu) and Lenin (Sunil), two dreaded criminals, set fire to Satyam's Mirchi factory. Jayaram's Brother-in-Law decides to kill Lenin, but Satyam takes the blame on him and gets a jail punishment of twelve years. On the other hand, Ramana partially loses his vision in the fire. Certain circumstances forced Vasundhara to leave his son, Ramana, and to live with his father, Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj). After 25 YearRamana (Mahesh Babu) is now a grown-up young man. Ammu (Sreeleela), daughter of Pani (Muraliu Sharma), is the love interest of Ramana. Pani is the attorney of Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj). After leaving his son and his husband, Vasundhara married Narayana (Rao Ramesh). She has a son, Gopal Reddy (Rahul Ravindran). Venkata Swamy wants his daughter, Vasundhara, Minister from his political party. However, Kata Madhu (P. Ravi Shankar), the political rival of Venkata Swamy, learns about Ramana and threatens to disclose the secret that Ramana is the son of Vasundhara. To cope with the situation, Venkata Swamy offers money and asks Ramana to sign a document stating that he is not related to Vasundhara or the family. However, Ramana refuses to sign the document. What happens next is the rest of the story of Guntur Kaaram with some twists and turns. |
