Plot Summary of Hindi Film I Hate Luv Storys (2010)

I Hate Love Storys (2010) is a Bollywood Romantic Comedy movie released on 2 july, 2010. The movie was produced by Karan Johar and Ronnie Screwvala. The movie was written and directed by the debutante Punit Malhotra who remained Assistant Director in the movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Paheli (2005) and Dostana (2008). Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor played the lead roles in the movie. The movie was a commercial success and remained in the Top 10 Highest Grossing Bollywood Movies of 2010.

Movie Plot: Simran (Sonam Kapoor) is a day dreamer and is very obsessive towards filmy romance. She also wants to spend her life with Raj (Sameer Dattani), her boyfriends, whom he sees as a perfect match for her until Jay (Imran Khan) enters in her life.  Jay is an Assistant to a Film Director who makes mostly Romantic Movies but in practical he hates love stories. 

Initially Simran and Jay do not like each other much as the time passes they become good friends and Simran develops feeling of love towards Jay. She finally let Jay knows for her love. Ironically Jay does not reciprocate to her love since he hates love stories. Heartbroken Simran gives up and leaves. But soon Jay also realizes that he is in love with Simran and he visits Simran to propose. But the heartbroken Simran has now already accepted the love proposal of Raj.
