Movie PlotBalbir (Vinod Khanna) and Anwar (Rajinikanth) are best friends. They are brave and always help poor people, including those living in an Ashram, a free home for the weaker section of society. Balbir’s younger brother, Vivek (Vivek Mushran), falls in love with a girl named Nisha (Manisha Koirala). Nisha’s father, Ranjit (Ajit Vachani), is a rich man who wants to destroy the Ashram and build his buildings there. He gets help from some corrupt people. When Balbir and Anwar try to stop him, Ranjit sends them to jail and blows up the Ashram with a bomb that kills many innocent people. Balbir and Anwar escape from the jail and kill Ranjit in public. They are caught and sent to jail for life. In jail, they meet Jailer Rana Pratap (Raaj Kumar), who is strict but honest. Meanwhile, someone kills Sumitradevi (Rita Bhaduri), the mother of Nisha and the police arrest Vivek for her murder. Now, Balbir, Anwar, and Vivek are all in jail. Will they be able to get out of jail? Who killed Sumitradevi? The film Insaniyat Ke Devta narrates the rest of the story. |
