Insidious: The Red Door, popularly known as Insidious 5, is an American (Hollywood) English-language Supernatural Horror film released in India on 6 July 2023 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The fillm was released worldwide on 7 July 2023.

Patrick Wilson is the debutante director of Insidious: The Red Door.

Insidious: The Red Door is the fifth installment in the Insidious franchise. The film is also a direct sequel to the American films Insidious (2010) and Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013).

Movie Plot

Ten years have passed since the events of the second film. Now Josh Lambert (Patrick Wilson) is taking his son Dalton (Ty Simpkins) to a beautiful, prestigious university in the east. 

However, Dalton's dream of going to college becomes a terrifying ordeal when the ghosts from his past resurface and start tormenting them.

To end the haunting and finally lay the demons to rest, Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Dalton (Ty Simpkins) must go deeper into The Further, facing their family's dark past.

The father-son duo has to face a host of new and more horrifying terrors that lurk behind the red door. They have to stop the never-ending nightmare that has plagued the Lambert family.
