Kranti (1981) is a Historical Drama Bollywood Movie released on 06, February, 1981. The movie depicts the fight against British Empire during 1825 to 1875. The movie was produced, directed and co-written by Manoj Kumar who also played the lead role in the movie along with Dilip Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini and Parveen Babi. The movie was a Blockbuster and became the Highest Grossing Bollywood Movie in the year 1981. Movie Plot: Sanaga (Dilip Kumar) is an honest employee in the kingdom of Ramgarh where Britisher’s are allowed to do their trade conditionally. However, the King is killed and Sanga is charged for the same and sentenced to death. Sanga manages to escape and makes an alliance with Bharat (Manoj Kumar); also known as Kranti; Shakti (Shashi Kapoor) and Kareem Khan (Shatrughan Sinha) to remove Britisher’s from India. |
