Movie PlotRahul Tiwari (Aftab Shivdasani) falls in one-sided love with Sandhya (Amisha Patel). He starts following her everywhere. However, Sandhya is unaware of Rahul's affection toward her. Sandhya is the daughter of Raj Patil (Ashish Vidyarthi). Raj is a cruel, heartless, and emotionless police inspector. He is alcoholic and abusive too and has terrorized his wife, Rachna (Neena Kulkarni), and daughter, Sandhya (Amisha Patel). Raj Patil discovers Rahul and his intentions for Sandhya. Raj publically arrests Rahul, beats him, and sends him behind bars. Dr. Kamlakar (Jackie Shroof) is the elder brother of Rahul. He manages to take out Rahul out of the police custody. While it should be a lesson for Rahul, he continues to pursue Sandhya despite her disinterest. Raj Patil plans to send Rachna and Sandhya to Hyderabad for their safety. When Rahul learns about the plan, he heads towards Hyderabad. However, Raj changes his mind at the last moment. On the other hand, Dr. Kamlakar, learning of his brother's plan to visit Hyderabad, gets tensed and wants to stop Rahul because Kamlakar fears that his brother may commit suicide for unrequited love. Distracted and worried about Rahul's well-being, Kamlakar meets with a severe car accident and dies. Rahul returns home, devastated by his brother's death, realizing that he has sacrificed four years and his brother for unrequited love. However, soon, Sandhya confesses her feelings for Rahul.
