The film narrates the story of the 1860s in Vadaal, Gujarat, India. Yadunath Maharaj (Jaideep Ahlawat), a Hindu temple priest, misuses his position and sexually exploits girls on religious beliefs. However, no one is there to raise a voice against him.
In one such incident, the Maharaj exploits Kishori (Shalini Pandey). Karsan (Junaid Khan), the fiancee of Kishori and a Journalist, decides to expose the priest. But it is not as easy as it appears to Karsan. What happens next is the rest of the story of the film Maharaj.
