Movie Plot
Niyati, while a kid, receives an idol of Lord Krishna. Niyati's mother introduces Lord Krishna as Laddu Gopal as a brother of Niyati (Nitanshi Goel). Niyati gradually grows younger, and her love for Lord Krishna also grows.
At the age of 14 mensuration cycle starts for Niyati, and her mother asks her not to touch or come closer to Lord Krishna during her mensuration cycle. She is told that during menstruation, a girl or woman becomes impure.
Niyati does not understand how menstruation makes a girl unclean or impure. She raised her query before everyone, including the temple Purohit. However, she is not satisfied with the reply of anyone.
In the end, the 14 years old girl takes the matter to the court of Law that becomes a topic of national debate.
Masoom Sawaal revolves around superstition and regulations imposed on women during their menstrual cycle. The rest of the film depicts the courtroom drama and the verdict of the court.
