Mera Saaya (1966) is a Bollywood Mystery Thriller Hindi Movie released on 1 January, 1966. The movie was produced by Premji and directed by Raj Khosla who collaborated with Sadhna third time after Ek Musafir Ek Hasina (1962) and Woh Kaun Thi (1964). Mera Saaya is known for its tremendous melodious music given by Madan Mohan and all songs of the movie were biggest hits like Tu Jahaan Jahaan Chalega, Naino Me Badra Chhaye, Naino Wali Ne, Jhumka Gira Re and Aap Ke Pehloo Me Aakar. All lyrics were penned by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan.
Movie Plot: A lawyer named Thakur Rakesh Singh (Sunil Dutt) returns India in the mid of higher studies after hearing bad health of his wife Geeta (Sadhana). Unfortunately she dies in his arms and leaving Rakesh mourning for her. The situation takes a dramatic turn when Raina (Sadhana), a dacoit is arrested by Police and she claims to be dead Geeta. Most surprisingly she knows everything about Geeta and people around her. But Rakesh is not ready to accept her as Geeta because he cremated her with his own hands.
