Mili is an Indian Hindi-language ( Survival Thriller ) film released in cinemas on 04 November 2022.

Mili is a remake of a Malayalam language film Helen released on 15 November 2019. Kannada and Telugu versions of Helen are also in progress.
'Helen' won National Awards for the director, who also made his debut with this feature and the make-up artiste, too. Anbirkiniyal is a Tamil remake of Helen released in 2021. Keerthi Pandian has played the lead role in the film.
Mili also seems inspired by the 1965 Malayalam film Rosy.
Mathukutty Xavier is the director of Mili. He also directed Helen (Malayalam Film-2019) and thus made his debut as a film director.
Boney Kapoor is the producer of Mili. Janhavi Kapoor, daughter of Boney Kapoor, is the lead actress in the film.
Mili (Janhavi Kapoor) is a nursing graduate. She works part-time in a restaurant, situated in a big Mall, to earn some money for future prospects.
Mili lives with her father. She intends to go abroad for a good job. However, her father does not like the idea of going abroad.
Mili has a special boy in her life. One day, while returning home with the boy, police stop them in the charge of the drunken drive.
Mili and her male friends get gree after Mili's father came to the police station. However, Mili's father got angry and stops talking with Mili.
The very next day, while Mili is in the freezer room of the restaurant she works, the manager unknowingly locks her in the freezer room. The room temperature is around -18 °C. Now Mili has to turn every possible pebble turn to keep her alive.
Her father files a police complaint and the police come into action. They try to find Mili everywhere except in the Restaurant. Will Mili be able to survive is the rest of the story.
The initial shoot of the film has already been done on a set. The film needs real locations. However, the shooting begins with an indoor shoot first. India seems a perfect choice for shooting during the days of restriction due to COVID19 because a big part of the shootings requires live locations.
