Mimi is a Bollywood Comedy Film earlier scheduled to be released on Netflix from 30 July 2021. However, the film was preponed and released on 26 July 2021. Mimi is remake of a Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy. Laxman Utekar whose last directorial was Superhit film Luka Chuppi Mimi (2021) StoryMimi (Kriti Sanon) is a young girl who wants money to enjoy life in her own style. Bhanu (Pankaj Tripathi) gives a proposal to become a proxy mother for an American couple for a hefty amount of Rs. 20 Lakh. Mimi gets ready to become a proxy mother for Rs. 20 Lakh. After a few months, the couple don't need the child any longer and need her to cut short it. However, Mimi chooses to have the child and tells everybody that Bhanu is the dad of her kid.
