"Naadu" is a gripping tale inspired by a real-life incident set in the enchanting landscapes of a small village of Kolli Hills.
The villagers live happily but do not get proper medical facilities since no doctor wants to stay in the only Public Health Centre (PHC) for more than a week because of the remoteness.
When the sister of Maari (Tharshan Thiyagarajah) dies untimely, he starts a movement to post a permanent doctor in the PHC.
Soon, the village collector (Arul Doss) posts Shobhna (Mahima Nambiar), a young doctor at the village PHC. The villagers plan to do everything to impress the newly appointed doctor so that she does not leave the PHC after a week. However, the villagers do not know that Shobhna is the daughter of the district collector (Arul Doss).
What will the villagers do to impress the doctor? Will they succeed, or will Shobhna also leave the village after a week? The film Naadu gives replies to all such queries.
