Santu, a young man, wants to stand on his own feet, but his father pressurizes him to join the family business. Thus, Santu leaves home and visits Kolkata.
In a similar situation, Nidhi flees from home and visits Kolkata when her father forces her to marry his choice.
Nidhi and Santu visit for an interview in the same post in the same office. Since only one can get the job, both ask each other to sacrifice the job.
Since no solution comes out, they quarrel with each other. However, their verbal fighting soon turns into love for each other, and Nidhi sacrifices the job.
The couple finally decides to get married. Nidhi is supposed to reach the Marriage Registrar's office in the morning. However, she does not turn up. Santu feels humiliated in front of his friends, who visited to be a part of his marriage.
Santu meets Nidhi and asks the reason for not coming to the Registrar Officer. Nidhi explains that marriage is like a dream come true for her, and she wants to celebrate it with her entire family.
Now Santu has to convince Nidhi's parents to get married. Can he convince the family? The film Oh! Lovely narrates the rest of the story.
