Movie Plot

Pahije Jatiche depicts the story of Mahipati (Vikram Gajre). He is a brilliant student and lives in a small village with his mother. Despite belonging to a lower caste, he possesses an insatiable thirst for knowledge. His brilliance in academics is evident, but the scope of his studies is limited due to societal barriers.

Since he belongs to a lower caste, he does not get that much scope in his studies. However, Mahipati still completes his M.A., B.Ed. However, undeterred by the challenges, Mahipati perseveres and finishes his M.A. and B.Ed. After completing his studies, he gets a job as a college lecturer.

Love Blossoms

One day, while in the college, Mahipati crosses paths with a charming young woman named Nalini (Sanjana Kale) at the college. As they spend time together, a deep connection forms between them. Love blossoms, and they find themselves drawn to each other, willing to face any obstacle that comes their way.

Family Opposition: Nalini's Struggle

However, fate has other plans for them. Nalini happens to be a relative of the college chairman, and their relationship faces strong opposition from her family. 

The weight of familial expectations becomes unbearable for Nalini, and she finds herself torn between love and duty. Tearfully, she breaks the relationship, leaving both her and Mahipati heartbroken.

Tragedy strikes again when Mahipati loses his beloved mother, his only pillar of support. Grief-stricken and disheartened, he returns to his village, carrying the weight of lost love and cherished memories.
