Movie Plot

Panchkriti, as the name suggests, is a collection of five stories set in a region called Chandel.

Story 1: The Mysterious Skull

In this captivating tale, we encounter the learned Pandit who stumbles upon a human skull in the local pond. The discovery sets off a series of events that test the nerves of Panditaine, his wife.

While the Pandit secretly studies the skull to convince his spouse of its significance, Panditaine grows agitated. But when the truth about the skull is revealed, hilarity ensues, leading to shared laughter between the couple.

Story 2: Sarita's Spirit

The second story unfolds as we meet Madan, who lost his wife, Sarita. However, the unexpected occurs when Sarita's spirit returns to nurture their newborn daughter, Mahi. 

As Mahi grows up, she forms a unique bond with an unseen presence, leading Dadi and Bua to grow concerned. Seeking answers, they call upon the enigmatic Tantric Oza, only to discover the astonishing truth about Mahi's mysterious guardian.

Story 3: Shubhi and the Supernatural

In this spine-chilling tale, we follow Shubhi, a headstrong 10th-grade student who defies the village custom of worshiping the demon Suata. However, after facing persecution, she decides to embrace the tradition. But when she breaks a sacred condition during the ritual, she finds herself possessed by supernatural forces. The consequences of her actions lead to a chilling encounter with a malevolent scoundrel.

Story 4: Sakhi from the Future

Amidst the mystical backdrop of old ruins, a peculiar tale begins with a little girl named Sakhi. Disguised as other girls, she befriends and plays with the village children, creating an air of intrigue.

However, when Dinesh, Suman, and Dadi catch a group of boys along with Sakhi, astonishing revelations come to light. Sakhi claims to be their granddaughter from the future, returning to prevent a grave tragedy. Her warnings about the unborn child of Sarita hold secrets that could alter the course of their lives.

Story 5: Parchhai - The Eternal Promise

This heartwarming tale introduces us to Rajni, also known as Renuka, who becomes enamored by the mysterious Sunny. Love blossoms, leading to a joyous union.

However, Sonu's soul walks alongside Renuka, fulfilling a vow of eternal companionship, a promise kept beyond the realm of the visible world.
